Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Assalaamu Alaikum, peace and blessing in the name of God.
An attack on one house of worship is an attack on all houses of worship.
In the wake of heinous incidents of terror that happened in Sri Lanka, NANMMA and its members express our deepest condolences and sympathy to all the victims of the horrific and senseless act of violence.
As we mourn the loss of life, we firmly stand in solidarity with our fellow Christian brothers and sisters and all peace-loving people in the world in condemning this barbaric and brutal act of hatred and all such acts against humanity.
Our prayers are with the victims and their loved ones who have endured such tragedy, for those who suffered injuries, both physical and emotional, and for the brave first-responders and individuals who selflessly and tirelessly helped the victims within minutes and hours of the tragedy and continue to provide their support.
May God protect us all, in this nation and around the world, from harm, calamity and malevolent actions and grant us the ability to stand together against fear, hate, and violence.
